Where can I find website templates for professional services (training) companies? I need the following capabilities:

1. A pop up box or some way to offer a free report or CD to generate an email list of prospects.

2. A way for people to register for executive briefings or seminars on the site.

3. An Amazon.com affiliate page with specific business management books for sale.

4. Eventually, a way to launch and track online training courses from the site.

I`m not a programmer or designer but can add photos and text and need to be able to do my own site updates, add articles, etc.. I`ve been told to use 1Shoppingcart.com but I`m not sure that is the best solution for a professional services company. I don`t have the money to hire a professional web site designer but I need something that generates more traffic than my current site www.pdswebsite.com. Your suggestions are appreciated!

I suggest you go to www.elance.com and/or www.rentacoder.com
I used (and am using them now) them both and you can get very reliable (do your due diligence by reading past clients` reviews on the programmer/developer) and affordable help.

Good luck.

You can find templates here.  On the left menu there are categories of templates.

The various requirements you list are easily added to any template.

You would only need an ecommerce if you want to maintain custome and pruduct information..and have the ability to change it without knowing any programming.

You may be able to monitize your site without adding an ecommerce solution immediately.  Does your website traffic demonstrate that you are reaching your target market? That`s an important start.

Andy and Roland,

Thanks for the suggestions. I was hoping to find a site that offered templates for consultants that already had the functionality I listed built in as part of the template. I may end up having to contact elance or rentacoder to add it to a template, but I was hoping to find a less complicated (and less expensive) solution. I can also call some of my consultant friends to ask who does their sites. My existing website traffic does not indicate that I am reaching my target market at all. Thanks guys. I really appreciate your suggestions.
