I will be as brief as possible.  I have a website.  It is definitely a niche-audience.  I got burned by a "web developer" initially and learned on my own that I could pretty much run my own site without a web guy.

I am however at a point where I have to change the direction my site is headed.  Unfortunately I may need a little assistance.

I can go into more detail through email or private messages.  But if someone would likle to hear/consult/help me I would appreciate it.

I could probably muddle through the process myself but I need this to be done quickly and correctly.

I am so glad to read your response.  I need a website and feel I have enough knowledge to build my own website because of the disaster stories I have heard from people.  These days you need a website to take care of business.  Please inform me which website and web host you used.

I would like to check out your website.

I identify with you. Some web designers will want to establish a relationship throug which they can be assured of an income even when they are not absoultely required. Had the designer been forthright, he would have shown you the basics of website maintenane. But that is water under the bridge now.

I suggest that you visit a freelance site like Elance, Guru or Freelancer and sign up now. It's free to post a project. Post a job for a web designer. Insist that it is for very minimal work and that they should train you as well so that in future, you can do it yourself.

There are very many experienced designers who will only be too happy to make a quick buck. Ensure that you do not pay over $5 an hour or a maximum of $50.

I'm experienced with the sites. They are great for support solutions.
