Hello everyone,

I have recently migrated to Montreal, Canada with my family. Now I would like to invest like $1 Million approx. But I am very much confused which business I should start here, as I am unaware of this culture and country.Any kind of great suggestions would be higly appriciated. Thanks a lot everyone.

With that money you can start any business, just an advise don't open a business that you know nothing about. Do what you best and start a business out of it.

I totally agree with Johndiv23, money / Capital is just one aspect to develop businesses, u should kindly tell us your previous experiences, do u have history in opening business before, do you undstand the legal and tax policy in Cananda ? What is your main expertise ? Operational ? HRD ? Operational ? What to be opened is just a matter of supply and demand, so u should confirm the basic requirements first before deciding to open any business. But 1 million dollar is good enough to open any businesses. Btw thwt amount of money, is that ur saving account or your prepared budget for investment ? You probably dont want to invest all of it if it is ur savings .. :p Good luck and all for the best

Money is but one factor in a business. What do you like to do? Look into a business that you can relate to. You want to invest your money in something you know something about. Look around in the market see what is making money and see if you can relate. Hire a local business consultant since you just moved they know the area and what would work and how the people would react.  Good luck!
