Hey everyone!!

Need a constructive critique on my site from all of you.  My company name is PREVAplus which equals out to Prefessional Real Estate Virtual Assistant Plus!

I provide a wide range of services from web design and maintenance to database creation and maintenance, marketing plans, transaction coordination, etc etc etc.

Thanks in advance!!

Just a quick comment.  I`d say that you don`t need the intro page at all.  A lot of people find them annoying and the less clicks someone has to make to get to your info, the better.

I agree with Steve about dropping the splash page.

Overall I like the look and color scheme. A few things that come to mind.

1) The white text on the grayish background is a bit hard to read.

2) Some pages have the heavy blue bar above the content area, some don`t. In Firefox, it is a bit too far left, overlapping into the dark menu on the left, by design or not I`m not sure.

3) No doctype or meta description for the home page.

4) Needs SEO; h1/h2 tags, alt tags, etc.

Thanks for the input.  Where would I go to learn about SEO, h1/h2, alt tags and such.  Any ideas, suggestions, links, etc are VERY much appreciated.  I want to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible.

I thank you for taking the time to check out my site and offer your opinion and ideas.

Awesome, thank you.  I would also value your opinion as to the software to use to create my webages/website.  Currently I use FrontPage 2003, but realize that FP is outdated now and I need to learn something new.

Also, come on people - I need your ideas and suggestions about my site.  All opinions are valuable to me, and I appreciate them.

Thanks M Hall and thanks to all who give of their time and expertise.

My site builder program is native to Windows .... you already have it installed, I`m sure .... Notepad   :)

The site builders I have seen are inherently bad for efficiency and optimization. They add in bloated code that reduces your content ratio, trashes SEO and never validates through W3C. Some, like Yahoo Sitebuilder, only work with Yahoo webhosting. If you don`t have time, money or the desire to learn basic coding, they work, but I don`t recommend most of them.

The white box with the logo ..... what if you inverted the colors so that the box matched the background, and the image in it was white? personally, I think it would blend in better .... JMO.

Thanks again - guess its time to buckle down and learn HTML coding.  I used FP because it was quick, made sense to me, and I could throw things together fairly quickly and publish them to the site, but I guess, when all else fails, read the manual.  LOL

Thanks so much for you advice - it is greatly appreciated.
