Do some research on keywords in your industry and what your targeted keywords might be.

See if you can find any keywords that do not get tremendous numbers of Google hits or where the page ranking of competing sites in organic Google searches is rather low.  Then if you can incorporate those keywords into your domain name and title tag you might have an advantage in search engine optimization.

A simple test is to describe your business to a friend or relative who is sitting at a computer.  Then ask them to search for your imaginary business.

What words would they enter into the search box to "hit" the business description?  What sites would they actually hit when they do?  Drill down in this exercise until you hit paydirt.

Do you specialize in particular sorts of buildings or projects? Maybe those specialties could provide some inspiration for your name. What sets you apart from other firms?

pick something that can be registered by the USPTO - then give it to your lawyer

After it goes to the lawyer, give it to me to design the logo—my specialty.

Hey... are you still looking for a name for your business?  I'm pretty creative and will give it a shot if you are still looking.

I agree... names like "Wilson Design Services" are Plain, Jane BORING!

I think the name also depends on how many people are going to be in your firm. Are you the only one in the firm? If so, I like "Structures by Robert".

If you plan to have others in your firm, then I think Michael is on target. Remember that everything is on the Internet now. If you can find a creative keyword, then you should probably use it.  I recommend using nameboy.com to find unique combinations. Just know that sometimes nameboy says the name is free when its not.

I think that a business name should be personal and have significant meaning.

The idea of incorporating keywords into the name enhances your searchability.  It just lightens the load later on.
