I own small store in Denver CO. A sales person from NPMG by the name Sean Mecham
Came to my store and after he look at the previous month statements I have he said that if I use NPMG as my credit card processing system that I am going to save at least $200. Monthly. He told me that about 75% of the cards we process are Debit cards and if I use NPMG’s processing system that he is going to give me 0.20 cents flat rate for every transaction and that I will save a lot of money.
I asked him since I own my own credit card processing machine that I want to use mine. He said NO to save that much money I have to Lease the equipment that’s the only machine the equipment work and that’s the only way I can save money.
Finally I agree the first day we install the equipment and run it was not accepting some customers Debit card it keep saying access denied I called NPMG Tech. Support Dept. and they couldn’t solve the problem. Imagine how frustrating it is to call tech support while customer is waiting online it takes long time just to get thru and to speak to some one there. Some customers left because they can’t wait until I resolve the problem not only them other’s who was trying to pay cash even left they can’t wait since the person in front of them stuck because of the credit card problem.
After Several times call and different technicians trying to help they told me that its Network related problem means their system does not support some of those Debit cards
And I have to run those cards as Credit Card means high rate, which means forget the $200. Monthly saving I am going to pay more. I disconnect the equipment and I called NPMG Customer service and I explain what happened they told me that they going to cancel the lease with no early termination fee and they did.
I shipped the equipment Now Lease Finance group keep taking money from my account they are different company the deal was in one packed they told me that I can’t get the deal if I did not use the equipment from Lease Finance Group then if their system does not support my customers Debit Card and when NPMG cancel their lease the other group should cancel too. The other thing I told the Sales person if I can buy the equipment he said its too expensive he said it’s going to cost me $4200. To buy it and no reason to pay that much money was his advice but now I found out online it only costs $339. It’s totally RIPOFF about 1500% Profit.
- I only used the equipment only one day
- I shipped the equipment after I used it only one day and they already received.
- Their system does not support some customers debit card
- The equipment costs only $339. Sean told me it cost $4200. actually now they asking me to pay $7,423.58 even its going to be more.
I need your advice help guys what I should do on this problem
