Did you know that StartupNation.com has over 35,000 pages?? And there are over 1,600 individual pieces of content that include articles, radio shows, podcasts, key moves, blogs, on demand seminars and special series. And of course, these numbers grow every day!

With so much great stuff it can be a challenge to efficiently find the information you’re looking for with each daily visit to StartupNation.

So we’ve launched a brand new Topics Navigation that will help you to locate content in 11 distinct categories and 92 subcategories. You’ll find a new tab to the main Topics page in the global navigation at the top of every site page.

We have also just released a major Articles page enhancement so that when you are on a specific article page you will see links to both related articles and related content in other formats such as radio shows, blogs, podcasts, etc. There also is a much improved treatment of the comments that you can make on each article. Here is an example.

The main topic categories each have their own main page which displays all of the subcategories and also shows you the 5 most popular articles and 5 most discussed articles for each category. You can also browse through all of the content for each topic.

I`m not sure how it would be done, but couldn`t there be "related forum topics?" I`m pondering as I`m writing.... It would have to be a better forum search engine, and since that`s built into the forum software, it might not work.

By example, I chose "Life Plan," and found "Taking time off." We`ve had a recent topic on "How to take a vacation." Obviously, the two are related. But to a search query, the only related word is "take."

I can`t see it being done automatically without better searching, but as a workaround, perhaps it could be done semi-manually? That would tie the articles to forum topics, and make for a better integration of all the information.

Not all forum topics relate to one of the master topics or sub-topics, but many of them do.
