Streamland,

As a fellow Atlantan, I offer you some unsolicited advice. I see you just joined SuN today. I suspect you haven`t had the opportunity to cruise around this site very much. A good starting place would be the wonderfully informative section produced by the Sloan Bros. called 10 Steps To Open for Busines.

There are many people here willing to help you and provide you with some excellent advice and answers to your questions. As you will learn during your journey to become an entreprenuer, it involves a lot of hard work and sacrific on your part, too. Do yourself a favor and read the 10 Steps. I believe you will enjoy it tremendously.

Welcome to SuN and I look forward to hearing the stories of your journey to success.

To paraphrase an old saying -

There may be great plan writers and there may be cheap plan writers but there aren`t any great cheap ones.

One of the services we provide to clients is assistance with their plan. We help them develop their plan because we believe the process and thinking behind the plan are what has the real value.

BTW - most good franchises offer financing assistance.

Good luck

I think, as with everything in life, you get what you pay for.

I agree with the above post ... start with some reading too.

thanks, i did briefly read through it and it is helpful. One of the things that im am trying to get a business plan for is franchising. Im gonna learn a proven business structure first then use it in my plans for some other businesses that i have plan for the future.

If you are planning to purcahse a franchise -most of teh solid ones will furnise a business plan in the form of how to do it and what to do. After all that is a big part of the reason for purchasing a franchise.

Most also have financing packages available to those who qualify.

Have you selected the franchise yet?

I am a little confused. You sent me a private message to send you a business plan that you may want to invest in? Are you looking for a buisness plan writer or are you an investor? Please be specific?

Contact jamiexquire@yahoo.com

The bussiness plan she did present to me would entice any good Investor...

A good bussiness plan says a lot about your bussiness on the surface

Goodluck

Was there something specific that you liked about the plan you received from her?

I am going to resurrect this post because it is the first listing in a google search for "affordable business plan writer" so we may as well have an updated response.

Robert had a couple of interesting replies. I disagree that there are no good "cheap" business plan writers. Maybe instead of cheap we use the term "affordable". Afterall, that is what entrepreneurs need. So, yes indeed there are good, affordable business plan writers (see my signature).

I happen to be a very good writer. I also happen to have a passion for business development. And I actually enjoy writing business plans. Because I have been in your shoes (I owned a franchise at one one time) I truly understand the need for an affordable business plan writer.

If you are going to seek funding it is an absolute must that you have a solid, formal business plan. Interestingly, most of the bank loan offers and SBA reps that I have worked with much prefer a short but consise business plan. For a new, small business start up you don't need to spend the typical $2000 for a professionally written business plan. A good writer with a strong business development background can get the job done affordably!
