I will say that I feel somewhat disappointed in the lack of upsets - little less Madness than in previous tourneys. I noted that it`s the first time in more than a decade that a double-digit seed did not make it through to the sweet 16. Everyone who complained about Stanford and some other marginal teams making it through probably feels vindicated now.

Chuck: I agree about the lack of upsets.  It makes the tournament a little more interesting.  I`m hoping there will be some really exciting games starting today!  Maybe some OT games?

The funny thing was there were a bunch of great games I watched, ones that went down to the wire or were close throughout, but no one came up with a real buzzer beater or big upset. Perhaps we`ll see a wacky sweet 16, with all but one #1 seed (UNC of course) going down?

OK Chuck, how did you know UNC was going to fold?  Did you not pick them to get past Georgetown on your brackets because you didn`t want to jinx them?  Well, that was one of the most self destructive last 12 minutes of a game I think I have seen in a long time.  Roy Williams was really out coached, not so much by the other coach, but by his inability to react and change his players` spiral downward.  Doing the same thing over and over again with negative results really confused them and towards the end you had very talented players literally not knowing what to do on the court!  Well that`s why they call it March Madness.

Stay tuned...coming soon

Probably because I had them winning in every other bracket I filled out, so I figured why not give someone else a chance. And I did think if anyone was going to stop them getting to the final four, it would be the hoyas.

The whole last 6 minutes and overtime is inexplicable to me. You`ve got Hansbrough and Wright down low, and yet all they did was take low percentage jumpers and basically hand the game to g`town on a silver platter. It has happened before - I remember a particularly painful loss to Kansas in the early 90`s when Rick Fox refused to stop shooting, despite missing about 15 in a row. Even Dean Smith couldn`t keep him from doing that, but I`d agree that Roy Williams should`ve been calling timeout and mandating that every possession had to run through the big men.
