I went from na to a 3 with my all flash website. Is it possible with flash to be stuck at 3 ? Or do i just need to give it time. I use seo tecnhiques like free directories (backlinks) etc.

Yes. Page rank is based purely on the links to your site, not your onpage content. Flash sites generally dont do well in searches because they often have no or very little readable text.
according to the algorithm of PR,it is neccessary to do more backlinks.but if you wanna improve your keywords ranking,just forget it..

Ranking factor depends on content and linking, and PR is not much effect on your ranking
It depends heavily on site back links and total count of your website pages. Back Links is one of the major factors which accumulate the Page Rank.
I think to get PAGE RANK from Google you must get high PR back link.

Yes!! it is very much possible to get good page rank against flash website if that is well optimize. If flash website is well optimize in term of on-page as well as off-page then surly it will enjoy good page rank.... Even my flash website enjoy page rank of 3....
