Thank you in advance for reviewing my site. I appreciate any and all comments regarding the website design, copy, organization, SEO tricks, use of advertising and overall worth. This is new to me and I need all the help I can get.

www.MyDogWines.com

My Dog Wines is an Internet-only business (hope to be at least) that currently relies on affiliate advertising revenue and sales through the store (CafePress). This is an entertaining and informative site for people who enjoy dogs, wine, travel and fun. As site traffic improves, I will consider selling products via drop ship vendors.

I had a firm design the logo with my direction, bought a menu scheme ($10) and rely on Fotolia.com for royalty-free images along with a few personal ones. All web design (40-60 hrs), development (200 hrs.) and copy (100 hrs) was done by me using MS ExpressionWeb 2.0. From a technical standpoint, my goal was to use XHTML and CSS standards to improve SEO raw scores.

Right now, I am trying to figure out how to embed WordPress to take advantage of the blogging capablities and plan to add discussion forums (Simple Machines Forum). I need to figure out how to deal with a single sign-in for members. I am having trouble with displaying windows media video (wmv) on the Dogs >> My Dog ... page and understand that I am not alone.

The site is updated once a month and I will be publishing this month's updates around January 11. After almost 2 months, website traffic is stale. I publish a monthly newsletter to "members" and have a Facebook page and group. I need traffic!

Any feedback and help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark
