Hmm....I suppose if you`re taking your nuts off the market, you could instead do something with balls? Of course I`m talking about cheese balls, and holiday gifts. I wonder if there`s a benefit to having a screen name, DoubleEntendrepreneur? Nah, I suppose only if you were twins.....or schizophrenic, I suppose.... 

Aw, nuts! 

Looks like I missed a good thing and now it`s going to be gone.

Too bad.  I have an uncle who sufferes from the same problem with foods that you do.  I`m sure he love to sample your nuts.

Chris - Perhaps you can use some `spin` to turn the loss of your nuts into a publicity boost (yeah, I know, the article is coming out and you`re wondering how much more publicity you could really handle. We should all have such high-class problems)

1. The `If you can`t sell it, give it away` plan
Create a press release to the effect of: Thanks to our wonderful customers introducing us and our products to their friends and neighbors, our business has really taken off. To express our gratitude, we`d like to share with you the recipe for one of our most popular items- Candied Squirrel Bait. Just include a note with your next order that says, "Chris, send me your nuts!"

2. The `Pretend the secret is out` plan
Remember the urban myth going around the `net claiming to be an illicit copy of Mrs. Field`s c.c. cookie recipe? Find a copy, edit and paste to replace your info and your recipe, and plant it in some choice blogs and forums. (Hey, SUN gang, maybe we should just do this one on Chris` behalf so she can maintain `credible deniability`)

Entreprenerd`s nuts may be gone, but, there seem to be lots of nuts left in the world.

So we now have an official Imprimatur, which would require the name, Imprimaneur? hmm....no, wouldn`t want to be called Imprimanure...right? :-)
