Hi,

You have an interesting site.  You seem to have some great content there.  I really like that you explain the grading method.  There are a few suggestions I would make to improve it.

First, on your landing page you have adds right in the middle of your listings.  I would suggest removing the adds to their own place to the right of your listings.  It's a bit confusing differentiating what you're selling and what's a Goole Ad.

I like that you have thoughtful blog entries with photos, but if I click the Blog link in your horizontal navigation menu I only get one entry.  Perhaps you could use that page to list a few sentences and an image from a number of entries, and then the user could click the header to read the specific entry they want.  The users might not notice the blog links on your home page because he or she is busy looking at the hotels.

I would also suggest that your contact link go to a page with a form that sends you an e-mail rather than just linking directly to your address.  If the user doesn't have an e-mail program like Outlook setup on his or her computer this link really doesn't help that much.

Probably the biggest change I would make is to the text on the site.  You seem to be using a default font with just black on white.  It doesn't feel like you've customized your site.  You have all this great content, you should show it off with the presentation as well. Try something a bit different (there are a number listed here:http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html), and use a dark grey on a light cream coloured background, or something along those lines.  Just a little change like that can give your site a lot of personality.

I hope these suggestions help.  Like I said, you have some great content, I just think you could maybe showcase it a bit more.

When I went to the site, I didn't immediately understand what I was looking at. I also didn't feel like the information was laid out in a way that was easy to consume.

It seems very busy.

I like your layout and the content made for interesting reading. I have a few observations:

Different fonts size and type can be use to highlight each heading if the visitor needs to scan a page to quickly find the appropriate section.

Your blog page is slow to load so you might consider break it down into smaller pages for faster loading. It you also make it easier to navigate since the reader doesn’t need to scroll to look for a particular attraction. The other blogs entries are not accessible from this page except from the home page. 

The Hotels can also be simpler to navigate if you create a page for each city. As with the Blog page, the reader can go to a particular destination without scrolling through the whole page. You can also put the rating for each hotel in the new page so the reader don’t have to go back to the Home page a click on the particular city to see the rating.

I also agree with the other reviewer that putting your email address on the Contact Us page instead of launching an email program. Most people are using web mail service like Gmail instead. 

You might want to move the questions and answers in the About Us page into a Frequently Ask Question (FAQ) page. Most people would consult the FAQ if they have questions instead of going to the About Us page.

I like the color scheme, drop shadow effect is working well with the logo and menu words. I think that some of the content pages need styling: the text looks like it comes from Word document, which makes it kind of boring and not resembling website content.

The pages with images require a lot of scrolling and look busy, so I think they need to be broken into several separate pages. And ads have to be separated from main content.

In general I think the site has a good potential and the idea is very interesting. It is up to you to make it work well!
