Hi Ideas and Innovations,

I like your concept of using the "competitive advantage" and I would offer an approach I have used throughout my career - develop the project/product/service in a non-competitive environment. Having successfully worked in 54 countries throughout my career, I have "learned and developed" many techniques used by the various cultures (along with key contacts in many countries) that allow you to "interface" with the key decision-makers and the "specification-writers" to assist in the formation of the project/product/service.

I use the example of beating the Japanese at their own game in a Telecom project in Malaysia for ESSO-Malaysia in the early 1980s. Through "effective interface" with the Client at all levels, we received the contract and there was considerable "add-ons" in several synergistic areas.

This is another area that is seldom used in my opinion - the use of synergistic market analysis in the global marketplace. Since retruning to the area of my birth (SE Michigan), I have been invited as a Guest Speaker by many organizations where I have developed the concept of the Business/Marketing Tridents, Synergistic market analysis and Key Success Factors from a Global Perspective into a methodology in which I have also incorporated one of the principles of TRIZ. At the end of August of this year, I am "parachuting" into a "city on the globe" and de-bug/perfect the business models.

Isn`t life grand after Corporate America!!!

Just wanted to share a few thoughts.

Hi everyone,

I can provide translations between more than 40 languages thanks to an international network of 1500 translators. All of them are native speakers, QC is guaranteed.

My "natural partners" are PR experts, webdesigners, communication agencies, publishers, e-learning companies, and developers of interactive content.

My ultimate networking goal is to build trust and develop bilateral partnerships with like-minded partners.

I can offer either commission for successful leads or seamless integration of our services in an existing portfolio.

Feel welcome to get in touch for more details.

On the other hand, being currently based in Brussels, I can also provide advice about & connections to the EU market.

Pierre

I am interested in joining your group... I have just started my own advertising agency... we specialize with promotional products that are event specific. So many times, companies, large and small buy items to give away, pens, magnets, etc., and that`s how they are treated as give-aways... we put a little more thought behind the give-away and turn it into a opportunity. An opportunity to engage your message with a person who is interested or may be interested in doing business with you.

We don`t have a catalog of items since we don`t limit ourselves.

Thanks for the opportunity to assist. This is a great forum for small business.

Regards,

jackede

Hey everybody. I`m a young guy looking to get into entrupenture ship, and I wondering if anybody would be willing to hear some of my ideas, and help me gain a realistic prespective on what I`m doing. I can`t really offer to much other than loyalty and a willingness to share any info I learn with others.

I`m one of those people who has too many interests and not a long enough business day to pursue them all. (And if you think my workday is crowded, you should see me during my "off" hours.)

So, count me in with this network. It looks interesting.

I was reading some post from the thread.  The network is a great idea.   Count me in.  I have a design company that creates custom announcement cards (advertisements for companies).

As for getting together on a teleconference to network there is a company that provides this set up already.  I actually just attended one of their events this morning.  Very effective.  We could look into having Fast Pitch Networking ( www.fastpitchnetworking.com)  facilitate an event for our startup nation group.

All their stuff has been free so far.  Let me know who would be interested and I will look into getting something set up.
