I am a Co - Founder of Fresh Business Minds - www.freshbizminds.com; based in Toronto, Canada. Our entire operations are online based. We have a platform where entrepreneurs, lenders, investors and inventors meet.

We also intend to connect job seekers with employers (still working on this aspect).

Based on the above info, we will appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes of your valuable time to visit our site Fresh Business Minds to give us your honest reviews. It can be positive or negative, we just want to be able to use your inputs to help us improve.

Thank you in advance.

I`d get rid of the splash intro. It doesn`t serve much of a purpose as it only shows your name, which they will see as soon as the entire site appears. Viewers might feel as if their time is being wasted.

On the actual page, I think you can condense the banner and make it smaller, where instead of the image of the globe on top, then a small logo underneath, you can probably condense the two or remove the globe image and focus more attention on your logo.

On your actual logo, I feel it looks a little like word-art straight fro Microsoft Word. Try to put together a logo or unique font in photoshop to make it stand out a bit more.

Good Luck!

I agree with matt  - it looks like a 1980`s layout - the moving traffic cop has to go - looks childish.
My first question when I get here is "What do I do next?"

The google ads are placed such that it looks like the site navigation - and the 4 boxes below should like somewhere - or what have them there?

Business Oppotunities is spelled wrong - again what do you want me to do? are you selling me something or just giving me information? confused...

the copy needs some love - it took 3 lines for a "simple" concept.

Fresh Business Minds (FBM) is built on a simple concept; our future leaders: students and young people are our primary focus. Our operating principle and philosophy is simple: "Catch them young". We intend on supporting student entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs and inventors who have good business ideas. Our platform can help them find angel investors, venture capitalists, private investors, employers, business service providers and business consultants.

try this:

I think you get the idea - sorry if it`s harsh - Art

If I were a venture capitalist, I`d probably skip the site and go somewhere else. The animated GIFs don`t cut it, particularly the "Let`s Chat" guy who looks like he needs a bathroom really really badly.

The content on the main page doesn`t reflect what you`ve said at the top of this post. I don`t like having to read a home page, then click "About Us" just to figure out what`s the point of the site.

All in all, the concept is a good one. I think it`s the execution that could use some work. Is this a site for "young" people? It seems so, as that`s the primary focus of the introductory content.

Hey there,

The site feels a bit squished to me.  The header is a bit tall, but doesn`t bother me.  The animated gif must go.  I would drop the exploding "FreeBizMinds" graphic. Your graphics should all have a similar feel to them, not like they came from 4 different websites.   With all the free clip art that exists, you should take a bit and streamline the graphics.  You have a contact page, that is very important.  I see that it has a form.  I did not test it, but I assume it works.  Does it?
Good Luck!

Looks dated.  Like 1999.  The cartoon gif is silly.  I don`t see
anything compelling here which would make me think there
is anything fresh or exciting to find at this site.  If you have
anything exciting it should be in a big headline, a stopper.

You would be better off running this sort of thing off a CMS
rather than as a static HTML site.  WordPress is pretty good
and not hard to learn - also more Google-friendly than standard
html sites these days.
