If possible, see if you can center the entire page. The right-side whitespace is weird. It`s unusual so see such a large logo, but since you`re using it to grab my eye and show me the navigation links, it works. Really well!

Here`s an idea: How about having a registry, where each month the prospective mom (and dad) get some sort of "thing?" They might get a discount coupon for 40% off of anything in the store.

It wouldn`t matter that the coupon comes in Month 3 or Month 8. The reason for the coupon would be to remind the people of your site. But be sure to ask for a registration, and only send the email once a month so you`re not annoying or "spam."

Another thing to consider would be affiliate marketing and connecting with other retailers. You maybe could work out a deal with any stores that sell toddler items, or perhaps with a diaper service, things like that. Then perhaps you could offer coupons to their company and get a finder`s fee for anyone who presents the coupon they printed from your site?

I feel like it`s just a little bit cluttered.  Perhaps you`re trying to do "too much" in the way of products.

Sometimes focusing on a particular niche market or product is the better way to go.  There are plenty of sites that offer things to new moms, what makes yours stand out?

That`s how you need to look at it.  Getting traffic isn`t a problem if you set it up the right way.  Your design is nice, but I think you waste too much space the vertical navigation on top.  I`d suggest a cleaner horizontal nav menu.

Overall, good design and good concept.  Just fine tune a couple things and you`re ready to go.

My daughter turned 20 weeks today and I have seen a lot of these sites. Yes you made it on your own, yes you have some spots that could use some attention but I believe its the homegrown look that gives it charm. I am a first time dad and VERY protective of my newborn. If the site is too slick to too corporate looking it will loose some of its "Hey I`m a mom at home doing this." feel and lend itself to being one of the sterile corporate sites that dominate the market. When it comes to kids people want to feel like they have another human being to reach out to (even in cyber space) and not just an 800 #. I might suggest a little more in the way of resources, the find a nanny sites, maybe one of the affiliate programs that gives coupons to free diapers or baby food are great idea. - James
