I like your interactive US map; pretty cool feature.  But I think you should add some color to your search box and menu to make it stand out a little more and not blend in so much. I would also suggest to add more color to your logo and header area, and using text that is in color and bold, sum up what your web site is at the top of your home page and give people a reason to want to explore more.  Just my opinions.  I hope your new site does well.
