I am wanting to move overseas in the next couple years for an extended period of time.  I would like to start a business that can be run from anywhere and regardless of location.  I would appreciate the opinions of everyone on various manners of business that could allow me and the family to "retire" and live in another country.

I spend about 1/2 of my time in the US and the rest of time in Lima, Peru. I went there on business several years ago and fell in love with it. I don`t have any problems running my business when I`m down there (or from anywhere else for that matter).

I outsource my manufacturing and warehousing (and lots of other stuff), have Vonage in my apartment in Lima and it works out great.

Good luck,
Ron

Then why don`t you take advantage of the resources you have and will do on both sides?  Anyway, not everybody`s got the advantage you have - overseas living experience.  Question is, how can you make a business out of it.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
