Vick`s lawyers indicated they will fight the state charges on the grounds that he can`t be convicted twice of the same crime.

 

I agree with his lawyers in this case - what is the point of prosecuting someone for the same crime in both state and federal courts?

I agree. Especially when you consider the fact, the state had the first crack at prosecuting Vick, long before the feds got involved. Now it`s just piling on.

I read in The Week, some local Humane Societies are asking for folks to donate Vick jerseys.  They use them to clean the cages.  Seems appropriate.
