Google and Amazon are also entering this area as well, but I have been using PayPal so long that I have no plans to even check out other services. :)

you guys are all correct in some way. Your rate is not based on your credit, I dont know where people get this idea, you are either approved or you aren't. The agent chooses the rate he will charge you. The set up fee is a joke and should ALWAYS be free. I never charge a set up fee and I give my gateway fee at cost. I hate fees and I don't think people should pay them. If you think you are getting a good deal with PayPal you might want to look at other options. 3 percent is not good!!
