Hi, I own a more creative business (make and sell digital stamps and going into rubber for crafts) and am looking to put together a media kit. I've read a ton of "what goes into a media kit" articles but wondered if anyone knew of any visual examples I could look at that was a little more fun and creative?

One other quickie question, the section that is suppose to have your catalog of products are you suppose to put all of your products or a summary? We have quite a few stamp and the list might be a little exhausting.

Any other tips for a creative media kit would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Kristy,

I'd start with a cover/sales letter and then you can include additional pages on your projects. Also a press release or a few to announce newsworthy things would be ideal!

Good luck!

Hi Kristy,

Make it easy on yourself. Think about each media member who will receive your kit. Can you customize the contents for each person and what he or she would be most interested in seeing?

You can be as creative as you want with your media kit. Just make sure it includes a "snapshot" of your business and what you have to offer. Media members need to be able to get this information fast.

Hope this is helpful. For more information, please check out rembrandtwrites.com and http://www.startupnation.com/steps/77/3859/4/1/public-relations-media-kit.htm.

Good luck,

Melanie
