Do you know - I mean really *know* - who your typical customer is?  If so, when you create marketing campaigns and write your copy, do you focus intently on them?

I've found that the easiest way to do this is by creating a customer profile - an actual one-sheet with a photograph, name and the important demographic & psychographic details about your typical client.

But there's more to it than that.  The profile should also consist of your customers fears and frustrations as well as their dreams for the future - at least as they relate to your business.

I've just posted a video blog with some ideas on how to go about creating (or revising) your typical customer profile.

Visit the blog post on creating a customer profile for your business.
