How can we make 2007 the most positive, amazing year ever?
What changes are you making? What are you leaving behind?
What is more important than ever?

I am wanting to have more energy and expeiences this coming year and I`m
sure other people feel the same way. Not just the status quo.

BUT HOW? A new look - for me, my business.

What are you doing?

This year I am taking charge. I am going to stop giving so much of myself away in business. 2006 was a bit draining for me, did alot more work then i got paid for. I always like to do probono and put out goodwill but last year the balance was way off. people start talking and it gets around that you will do things for free, and than there goes your credibility. So i have pulled in the rains and cut off some folks who were taking advantage and now expect to be paid and realize I am worth it. I hate taking money, always have but if I do that too much i have none. So this year will be different for me. I have come to realize that I can help others and still expect to be paid.

2007 is going to be a huge year for me and my business.  In writing a book, as I did  in 2006,  I seem to misplace so much of a year in time I can devote to my work, my personal life and myself.  I`m currently lining up many speaking engagements, taking on new projects, planning travel for business and personal reasons and taking control of my life again.  The book comes out in mid-year and it will change many things about my career - it will position me much differently in my industry.

One major thing will be FINALLY implementing the new design of my business web site.  It has been neglected a grea deal the past year.

Personally, I`m working on dealing with some health issues that have bogged me down the past 2.5 years.

The redesign of my garden - my best therapy - will continue and the garden will be on a garden tour in July.  I like the fact that it showcases a totally different, yet still creative, aspecct of my life.

Having turned 50 in 2006, the new year is the start of the second half of my life and it`s going to be incredible.

2006 was the year I realized I actually was an entrepreneur, though for
years I had been calling it "self-employed". As a result I discovered the
world of business, something of which I never knew. It was also the year
that my creativity and dreams exploded tenfold.

2007 will be the year that I begin to implement those dreams. I will
continue success with my artwork, launch my new comic strip related web
business and solidify the plans for my camping business.

2007 will also bring new personal successes, especially the way that I
reach out and communicate with people and the world around me. I will
learn to gain and share knowledge in a way I never have before. It will be
a rocking good year!
