I see that people have been checking out the post (100+ views) but there aren`t any comments. Please comment even if it is just 1-2 sentences. I am considering changing the site and need feedback first.

Thanks,

Ayishah

Too funny, you are in my `hood!  Fix your page URL so you can be properly spidered by search engines.  Should say name of site home page, not just homepage or keyword bilingualeducationhomepage.url.  That is not a real URL, just an example.

Obviously this is a secondary marketing vehicle backing up your brochures, correct?  Which are being hand delivered to the preschools and early child care centers?  How far up in age do you go.  Say so on front page.  If I do not have a preschooler, this is of no interest to me.  Get list of private day cares as a secondary target market.

Interesting idea but since so many here are already bi lingual, you may have more business by teaching English to Spanish kids.  Just a thought.

Your website is crowded and overlaps text on my computer.  I have my view set to large type...just FYI, not sure if it looks ok on regular view.

Probably more feedback than you wanted.  Best of luck with your business.  I provide accounting, business consulting and tax services in West Boca.

I like it - it`s colorful without smacking me in the face.  It`s easily navigable and I like the content.   also like the concept of your business.  Best wishes!

just a first impression, for my screen the pages fit well. the colors and the look felt like I think it should for your target market. a couple thoughts I had while looking at your site, 1st you`re somewhat misleading on your home page about the whole bilingual thing while spanish and english is bilingual you almost imply I can have my kids learn french or itialian, maybe even japanese. I am not sure how you can address that. next, I learned spanish late in life (late 30`s) from a need for work (I used to travel in south america for business extensively), I have 2 1/2 grand children now and think all kids should learn at least one other language (i`m told switzerland requires 6 to graduate high school) but how can you help me? my son does not have the "worldly experience" I do, he can see no value to have is kids kearn another "tounge". no matter if I offer to pay for it he doesn`t care. if I sent him to your site what would change his mind? where do you sell your product? if I was 30 years younger with my life experience I`d consider your product (because I know my spanish sounds like their english) but my son is 30, sell him.
I personally love the idea, and I do actually try to get my son to enroll his kids in a language program outside of school, he doesn`t see any value in it. I think you need to offer some compelling reasoning into your website, facts, quotes, pecentages, future oppurtunities ( the world will be multiligual within 30 years, heck its already a global economy) in short sell the concept.
my 2 cents

I would recommend getting rid of the marquee altogether but at least remove the java part and use html (like below).
<marquee behavior="slide" direction="left">Your slide-in text goes here</marquee>
Thanks for the suggestions. I do not mind criticism, which is why I listed another post. I am in the process of updating my site and have tons of changes! I will offer to more markets (native Spanish-speaking, other languages and even adults) I live in Boca myself and will be needing some accounting assistance soon. I`ll keep your name in my email.

Thanks again!

Thanks for your input! I have to make the corrections on the site. I will be adding more languages to the program too! I am glad you know the importance of learning another language. I am posting some quotes from the us dept of education that confirms where the us is heading, particularly when it comes to language learning. I will definitely sell the concept more!

Thanks sooo much... Very informative!

Hi, as a mother of 3 small children I like the concept.

WEBSITE suggestions-

1.  I use my thinkpad laptop only.  When 1st loading your site I have to scroll down to read anything that tells me what I need to know. There is some empty space at the top can everything be moved up?

2.  Maybe you could add at the top next to the hand a more specific sentence about what you do, are, etc. something quick and easy to read that tells me whether you come to my area, or I can purchase training materials etc.  Can take the sentence below and move it above the childrens photo?  Change the font to be more eye catching.   It is your elevator pitch right and tells exactly what your business does.

"We are a mobile language learning program providing foreign language instruction to preschools, after school and summer camp programs in the south Florida area"

3.  Have you identitied your competition?    If you are trying to target the mommies and/or private daycares with money it `seems` like you need a mascot.   I know that sounds silly, and you may have already discarded the idea..but others in this same business all have some sort of visual mascot..puppet.

4.  The sentence below is missing something. Should you add `beginning foreign language studies` or `beginning a foreign language?"She is committed to the importance of beginning foreign language at a young age and is raising three bilingual children."

5.  Most important,  market more to that fact that  you are a MOTHER of 3!  That attracted me the most and made me feel more comfortable.  That should be somewhere on the home page, and talked about more on the about us page in the 1st sentence.

6.   I do not see prices.  Even having a range would be helpful.  My best friend just started a private kindergarten and when I was searching for outside consultants for her art class etc. If  I did not see prices on the companies website I would move on.   I do that when shopping for personal items also.

7.  Post a picture of yourself  and your children.  Especially if you are the only teacher/instructor.  This will let me know I can trust you with my children/class.   Hope this helps.  Good luck!

Dianne
