Well of course it is for you. You make your money from the people who blindly follow you, sir. You have no real products just ads enticing people into your little web.

I am positive whenever I can be. I am also very direct and honest. I am not sure how you would ask someone to present a the image of somone on a bed surrounded by commission checks as anything but touting a get rich quick scheme.

I am deeply saddened when people take the internet and use it the way you do, it gives those of us who are not playing games with people a bad name.

I think you need more information about your situation in order to correct it.  For example, which pages are users visiting - are they getting to the item pages?  How many visitors to your site create shopping carts and what percentage of all visitors does this represent?  What percentage of shopping carts are abandoned, and where in the order process are they abandoned. 

Whoever hosts your website should be able to provide you with this data -- it`s vital for e-commerce sites.  Once you understand how far into your site visitors get, and which pages they leave from, you`ll know what needs to be improved.  For example, if no one gets to your item pages, well then your problem is right up front on the home page, but if a healthy percentage of visitors create a cart, but never get to the checkout, your problem is somewhere in the ordering sequence.

Lynn is exactly right. Do your business plan, if you don`t have one, get together with some great people and make one. Then work your plan.

I have to agree with Steve, here. I`m a guy, so although I may be interested in the pictures and contemplating how women look in lingerie, I`m probably most interested in how much does it cost?

I also agree with others that the front page is nice, and shouldn`t immediately list merchandise. But what I looked for in the menu to the left was either a "Products" or "Shop" tab that would take me to a catalog. Then I`d expect to see a thumbnail of each item, a quantity, and price.

Another pet peeve (two actually) on Web sites is when you click on a thumbnail to enlarge and get exactly the same size image. But the other is that I`d like a decent explanation summary of the item, or if it`s a kit, what`s included...that sort of thing.

I wonder how many men shop for lingerie they think their lady would look good in? Isn`t that the cliche, that the women put on whatever the guy buys and it`s uncomfortable, nerve-wracking and so forth? On the other hand, aren`t there statistics as to who pays the most cash for lingerie? Seems to me I heard it was men making the purchases, but I don`t know that.

Bottom line is that I didn`t see much to pull me into spending my money as a guy. On the other hand, the site looks nice and seems easy to navigate. It just seems almost exclusively female-oriented. Hmm...now there`s a thought...a focused market in the gay community? :-D Okay...maybe not.

Regardless of our differences of opinion on this, I love the web pages you produce for people. It would also be great for you to be able to promote these pages for clients too. It`s no good having the best web page for your business if no one see it.

What you are doing is just posting links and you know it. Thanks for proving your scam by again posting the guy on the bed surrounded by checks. Well there is just the real business owner there Michael.

I have read everything you have posted which is why I want to expose your scam. Your last link does not work. So I guess your completely unfounded childish challenge has once again led to evidence of your feeling you can get away with this stuff.

If you`re not selling them today, are you at least building a list?  That is, when people come to your site, are they incented to provide you with their contact information so they can get your "free e-zine" and/or online and offline catalogue and/or e-mail alerts for sales, etc.? 

Do you also give people the opportunity to TELL YOU what the WANT?  "Tell us what you`re missing?"  This could be in the form of a click-away pop-up:  Wait, before you go would you take a moment to tell us what`s missing from our site / product line, etc.

Is it EASY to buy from your site?  Do you ASK for the sale?

Just some things to think about.

OK, just looked at your site-- it needs help.  When I go to the homepage at http://www.victoriassecret.com/ what do I find?  Let me list some observations:

First page, the brand and the product are in my face-- all over my screen. I do not need to click a left-side menu before I ever see a product.  It` there-- and it`s there along with:

• A prominent special offer
• Sale items
• Offer for free shiping
• A featured NEW product

You`re selling SEX for crying out loud- and you`ve written a novel.  Don`t TELL me about it-- SHOW me the story in pictures.  Give me a fantasy, and then offer me the opportunity to buy it, to make it my own, to make it come true!

Do you know or understand why it`s all right down the center of your screen at http://www.victoriassecret.com/ ?  Because the vast majority of people are still looking at 600 X 800 resolution.  I have to scroll left to right to see your whole site and I have a 17" hi rez screen.  Simplify that.
