I am looking for other like-minded individuals that have a passion for web design and development and that want to start a new business venture together.

I don`t have any particular niche at this time to focus on - this decision will be a collaborative one. This will be a 50/50 effort.

My general plan, without divulging to much information, is to start a new web design and development company that caters to a various types of small to medium business clients that require a new or updated web presence, but don`t necessarily have the budget to hire a professional to put together this web presence.

Obviously, web design and development is a very saturated field, there are too many of these around, so we will need to come up with something unique that will help the business stand out. My initial thought is to a create tool(s) around common web development processes and client requirements to streamline development and client website usage efforts.

I want to automate as much stuff as possible from the development side and also from the client side. The benefits to this is that we as designers/developers spend less time creating and supporting a website and the client gets a quick affordable website that is clean, stylish, search-engine friendly and easy-to-use. I have more thoughts on this, but this is the main initial idea.

I know that there are services on the web that offer such services as I described, but none with exactly the same idea/implementation. The websites that are produce by our propriety web application will be, in a sense, a living-breathing creature that works for the client, not the other way around.

Of course, if you have a better idea I`m all hears :). I have other ideas as well, but this one seems to be the top of the litter for me, so to speak.  I wish this tool already existed, so that I do not have to go through the manual process of creating and supporing a professional and functional web site myself.

I am also open to developing a unique (or better) web application that ties into a new or existing website that provides additional or enhanced functionality (ei, search engine optimization management, e-commerce, content management systems, reciprocal link management, mailing list management, etc.).
