Market Samurai... there are a ton of reviews on this product online already, just google Market Samurai reviews.

Just because Google offers a free tool doesn't make it the best... Sometimes in business you're going to have to spend some money to ensure you have the best tools to efficiently run and operate your business.

If anyone has been convinced that simply throwing up a website and hoping to make a fortune by only using Twitter, Facebook and some Basic SEO tactics is all that's needed... Then you've been sold some serious kool-aid.

It ain't that easy :-)

Cartess, first of all how you been? Long time no speak... or long time no thread... How you been? Hope you're doing fine... As for your comment "If anyone has been convinced that by simply throwing up a web site and hoping to make a fortune by only using twitter, facebook and some basic SEO tactics is all that's needed..." ABSOLUTELY.... Social Media Marketing is the way of the future... The reason why Social Media Marketing is so important these days, is because you are building brand awareness, brand recognition, and most of all you are targeting a target specific community.. these are called "Groups"... Before you were limited to local brand awareness and recognition... with Social Networks, you can cater to the whole world. Of course, the web site owner needs to put some effort in to it... But by using Basic SEO, Facebook, Twitter and other Social Networks you can be successful. In your opinion... What does it take for a business to be successful other than SEO? SEO is expensive... And in this economic down turn, every penny counts. F.Y.I Facebook superseded Google in 2010... So why can't someone that know's what they are doing, convert users into sales?

I found a very interesting tool called sni.pr. The non affiliate link here is: sni.pr. It's basically similar to Market Samurai, it uses the Adword keyword tool to analyze keyword info. But the thing is, it's free to join and you get 20 "insight credits". You can use the initial keyword analysis tool to find some good niche markets and then the insight tool helps people determine how much could potentially be made through affiliate marketing if you place on the first page of google. It also helps you determine how hard it would be to place on page one by accessing back link competition for the keyword as well.

Alexa.com, Quantcast.com, Spyfu.com, and iSpionage.com all offer similar services to what you just described. They may not offer the exact specifications but they come very close.
