Dear SUN members. I hope some of you may know someone that would have an interests in this offer below;

In an effort to promote local area businesses residing in the greater Washington DC area, The Crossroads Club is looking to host some of our future business networking events at your place of business. If you have an office that is sizable enough for our events, then we want to talk to you. Below is the complete write-up of what we are looking for and what you will receive in return. The ideal office space is something along the lines of an executive suite company (ie; Intelligent Offices) or a real estate office or bank that can accomdate our networking events.

Requirements for events to be held at an office;
  1. There must be one central location/conference room for attendees to mingle. There must be plenty of open space rather than pockets of space as this does not make for a networking centric atmosphere.
  2. It must accommodate b/w 40-60 people at this point in time. Needs #3-#5 should also be factored in when allotting for space for attendees.
  3. We must have 4-7 tables that are at least 5-6 feet in length. These tables will allow us to sign people in as well as include food and drinks. Chairs are also needed to help sign people in.
  4. Your office must allow us to bring in outside catering of food and drinks.
  5. Your office must also have space in a corner where we can have two tables set up for people to promote their business. These are called Crossroads Promotional Corners.
  6. We also need digital photos of the layout of the office/room in question so that we can get a sense of the layout and where everything will go. We would prefer to do a face to face walk through but sometimes time schedules does not always permit us to do so hence photos will do.
  7. The building premises must have plenty of free parking for attendees.
  8. Our events are usually held b/w the time range of 5:30pm to 8pm so your office space should be available during this time.
  9. The location should be metro accessible, thought not a must. We prefer downtown DC or Fairfax County or Montgomery County.

In exchange for free occupancy for a couple of hours, you will receive the following benefits;

  1. We will list your business on the front page of our website sidebar for the duration of exactly 1 month for free.
  2. We will also mention your business through our mailing list in conjunction with the write up of the networking event that is being held at your place
  3. We will also mention your business through our mailing list in conjunction with the write up of the networking event that is being held at your place

If this is of interest to you, please get in touch with me at deanhua [at]gmail.com.

Please send us photos, the nature of your business, business address and any other pertinent information.

Thanks,
Dean

How about the White House library? (1600 Pennsylvania Avenue -  close to metro stops @ N. Farragaut, etc)

The current occupant obviously isn`t using it...

Nicole- Since you seem to know her, can you drop her an email on this post as I don`t always know if members get their SUN private messages.

Jeff- I had a hard time trying to figure out if you were joking with your suggestion. If so, I didn`t get the joke :)

For e.g. just enter the keywords like "office space" and include your city name such as "Florida" and search it in Google for the best office space providers in Florida.

Aside from manpower and skills, office space is equally important in establishing a business. Your office space environment can have a huge impact on the productivity and overall success of your business.
