Business Concentration - Film (8mm/S8mm, 16mm (near-future)), Photo (Pictures/Slides) archival and transfer to DVD.
Business Objective - my aim is to assist in converting their existing `analogue` media to digital. I`m trying to be straight forward with my website to appeal quality and processing options for the customer. The idea of `packages` will hopefully alleviate the nickel and diming I see in some websites. It`s kind of `this is what you get for this price`.
Current marketing target - 35-55 year old and baby-boomers.
I assisted in the design with a web-developer friend by finding websites I liked and that felt comfortable to me.
I did the copy.
I`m light in the Search Engine Optimization/Strategies and looking for input in that area. Although, I have seen that topic in SUN forums and haven`t completed the research there, yet. Naturally, after I launched the website, I expected to be overwhelmed with requests (jus` kiddin`). So, SEO needs some tweaking.
To-Do List
Add `About Us` page - I`m not one for tooting my own horn but am looking at examples to seem big even though I/we are starting out small.
Add Testimonials to the website. These will be located on the left column of the pages. I have some to add and am contacting previous customers for their kind words.
Modify Samples. First label them Film Basic, Film Premium (sound)... Photo Basic, Photo Premium (sound)... Fun Project, Vette/Cycle Event, Home Movie Narration, College Musical... I have some more samples to add to give it a little more variety.
I have a question of samples placement. Should I leave all samples in one spot on each page or separate the film samples to the film page, photo samples to the sample page and the remaining samples to another page?
More Graphics - film frame examples and pics.
Thanks in advance.
