Hello Everyone,

I am working on a startup and have a few job positions which I am promoting at many sites across the internet.  Currently I am using about a dozen sites and many mailing lists and forums but not getting enough applicants.  Does anyone have any pointers on free websites for international job postings.  My particular need is in the information technology field but I have not found many sites that offer a truly "global reach".  Most of the pay sites are prohibitively expensive and I would not like to go that route.  Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks so much! =)

www.Craigslist.com  is a great site that gets tons of traffic.  It`s popularity abroad is growing quickly.  Not only will you get a lot of responses directly on the website but if you post one ad a week your ad will pop up often on major search engines.  Because Craigslist is so popular it gets crawled often by spiders and gets better searcg rankings then a lot of the major websites.  My ads show up on their site for my services in the top 3 regularly.

You are allowed to post every 48 hrs and you can post on tons of different cities in the US and abroad.

I personally get about 75% of my business from ads I place for free there and I`ve gotten 30+  applications for jobs I have placed for a local market.

Good Luck I hope this helps.

Linkedin

www.linkedin.com

Not free but prices are reasonable (about $150 for an ad) & huuuge DB with many quality profiles.

Btw feel welcome to connect there.

Hope this helps,

Pierre

Myspace.com - You need to activate a free account. Then you can post in classifieds. Thier classifieds section is a copycat of craigslists format.

Myspace rocks because not only do they have 90 million members worldwide. People who are interested who contact you within myspace, you can see their myspace profile and learn more about potential candidates.
