Okay, so the topic subject may sound a little greedy, however I am looking at additional ways my company can get money out of the state.  Now I have made the employees start a recycling program hoping there will be some loop holes for some incentives and tax breaks, but truly...I am looking for dollars from the state.  Does anyone know where to begin this search?  I have started to dig, however I an not sure that the digging is getting me anywhere.  I know that the state will more than likely hid this "free" money as some call it...but I need to at least be pointed in a direction.  Any help will be great.  Thanks.

Have you talked to your state assemblyman about programs that your state may have? Look at what you wrote, i.e., the state will likely hide this money. If there is such a program in your state, ask yourself this, why would the state take the time and trouble to create a program and then "hide it" from their residents?

Go to your local Small Business Association (SBA) office. You can start on line.

They've got lists of loans/grants that you may qualify... especially on the recycle end.

Good luck!

Phanio is right, free money sounds too good to be true and to what Phanio said, I could add my own experience...Three years ago I was desperately looking for money for my business, it was money for a second round of financing and the process included not very bright things. I didn't know what exactly was working to attract a venture capitalist (for startups angel investors are most recommended), my business plan seemed all right, but it had no worst-case scenarios, there were also maybe some other weak points that I didn't realize then, I went through some unsuccessful deals...Then I decided to use a list of business investors and only select the most suitable ones - for my type of business, I had already some wasted time and patience...A list of business investors is what I recommend to you as well they will provide funds and ask for money in return, but they'll also provide help and expertise.

Good luck!

Ari,

And your APR (including application fees and every other type of fee that you will charge) is what now?

Personal checks drawn on your U.S bank account will not be accepted abroad. Do not expect to use them as a method for purchases or other services.

I totally agree with you if anyone wants to know more about these small loans and it's eligibility then they can go to local Small Business Association (SBA) office, and you can get proper information about that.
