Hi all -

Just back from vacation and wanted to thank you all for the mentions.  I think it`s great we have such a selection of graphic design resources here at SuN.

When price is the major concern in a business looking for a logo I always recommend that business owners avoid the online discount "logo mills."  Unfortunately, some are not what they seem and have been known to offer existing logos as examples of their own work to clients.  The unsuspecting client could find themselves in legal hot water.  One of my clients came to me after selecting a logo from such a site and discovering the exact same design being used by another business in the same city.  Just cautioning buyers to beware in such situation.

Excellent resources may be found at your local/regional art or design schools.  Students, who are getting great design educations, are often looking for "real world" design projects that often fit very well into the initial budget of a start up business venture.  The career advisors at such schools may be able to put you in touch with very talented designers.
