I know it's been several years since you posted this announcement about your new venture. I would love to know how things turned out.

Although you're probably finished with your project.  I'd like to share a little of my story,

just in case it might help others.

I was working in the entertainment industry and things began to stall for me about 7 years ago.  At first I tried to find a regular job.  But after a while, I realized it wasn't going to happen.  My skills weren't up-to-date and some of it was probably age discrimination as well.  But I decided to remain optimistic.  I felt like something was bound to come along that I could do.  Well.. to my surprise, my daughter provided the answer.  She decided to become a fashion designer.  I didn't know anything about that industry.  But I wanted to help make her dream happen.  So I jumped in with both feet and after she'd worked as an assistant for a designer, we decided to start our own company.  I was in my late 50's by that time. 

For me, it was on-the-job training.  It took a while and we failed twice.  But we're back in business and we have some small investors who are interested in helping us.  Our company is called Annalogy.  My daughter is the designer and I handle the business/marketing side of things.  I'm still learning as we go.  But I'm having so much fun.  If you'd like to check out our website, here's the link:  annalogy247.com

Since, past years I was also looking for starting a profitable business with low investment. From, web I just got an idea for starting a franchise business. It was absolutely worth idea for me because, now I had started that business and I love to do that because, I got enough success & making great profit to running that business now.
