Recently, someone posted a list of sites to register your blog with to promote your blog and hopefully increase readership.

I have searched high and low and cannot find it.

Would someone be able to point me in the right direction please?

Ric, I don`t know what list you`re referring to specifically, but a couple of months ago, Loren Baker, the editor of Search Engine Journal compiled a Top 20 list of the best and most popular blog directories. In my opinion, it`s the premier list around. Here`s the link:

Peter, thanks also. However, everyone be aware three of the sites included in this list have nasty little viruses!

I would not recommend you visit - there was nothing that really would help bloggers that they wouldn`t already be getting access to through their normal processes.
