The swaynester tried to start a thread where everybody could list their strengths so other members would know what you have to offer.....

It didnt go as far as I expected so I wanted to try again..

Tell us what your strengths are so if they meet the needs of others, they can get ahold of you to talk business,  I am assuming that is what we all are here for, to network.

I`m more of an idea person--business and product ideas. I love brainstorming.
I write and have a background in journalism, marketing, and public relations.

I am like "theswaynester". I`m an idea person. I enjoy product development. I have 2 patents for my own inventions that I wrote and did the drawings for myself. I am a graphic/web site designer by trade and have a real estate license/background as well. I am very creative but also have my feet on the ground. I am also a techie. I love computers and the net and have been working with them since the old Commodore 64 days.

This is like an interview question. I am a poor interviewer. I
would say my strengths, without a lengthy description would
be… Independent Worker, Effective Problem Solver, Creative
and Idea Person.

All in all, these descriptions are subjective. Everyone creates.
Everyone is an idea person. It`s not until you are around other,
high level, creative people that you learn how creative, or how
good your ideas really are.

If financials are used as a measuring stick (which isn`t always
equal to ones abilities) for a person`s strengths, my top 3
earning positions were.

Professional Musician (mostly drums)
Graphic Designer
Resident Manager

I would love to be involved in buying great merchandise for
retail sales. It`s so easy to spend money. Maybe that`s why I
would like to do that. Ha ha ha

My main strength is low level/affordable marketing. This ranges from "labelling" my business on my clothes, finding wealth based demographics for free, to making quick websites, use of powerful but affordable "editing and special affects software", having great interpersonal skills, brainstorming for free with friends, effective use of promotional materials (for example, placing small well crafted post cards on apartment doorknobs), utilizing radio promotions ( I have 2 radio interviews with StartUpNation that I put in my free promotions DVD), and projecting a positive image of my business.

To me their are 2 kinds of people:

The kind that has help to give & who waits for others to ask him for help and other kind could be a helpful person seeking someone who has a need and asking them if they want help.

Too many people say, "Yes I need help" in general; but do not approach anybody specifically.

To paraphrase an old axiom , "Do a random good deed at least once a week"

I have a wide array of skills, but I`d say my best strengths are:

1.) Ideas and conceptions

2.) Listening and Structuring

3.) Development and Problem Solving

4.) Creating Value and Investment of Resources

Others might think differently, but those who know me best would say these are my best strengths... as for my weaknesses, the one I`ve paid most for is my trust of others.

I wish you all SUCCESS in all your endeavours!
