Hi Sun,

I am also new here.  I built my website on Homestead.  Nothing seems to be happening.  I would like to know your opinion on how it looks.  Not sure I have the right tags. Are the colors too dark?  Is there too much content on the homepage?  What do you think about the navigation?  I am aware that I have to update my products and add new products.  What do you think of the pictures?  My url is www.elegantjewelryandcrafts.com.  Thank you in advance for your expertise and consideration.

I've never heard of Homestead, but that's beside the point.

Your website looks ok only on the Opera browser.  In both Firefox and IE the text overlaps the right side background.

The colors are OK on the homepage, but you should be consistent - unless you have a good reason for it, your page colors should be consistent.  Yours changes with every page.  And the colors of the "About Us" page are - loud.

Your "Home" and "Parties" navigation buttons take me to a 404 page that has nav buttons on it to what looks like your old web site?  I don't know what the search engine does when they encounter a 404 page.

Speaking of SEO - your site has none.  The page titles are generic (E.G. "Home").  The page titles need to be keyword-rich.  Also, there are no h1, h2 tags that the search engines like to find.  You do have good keywords in the description and keywords tags, but the search engines don't put as much weight in them as they used to.

Many of your photos are out of focus.  If you are going to shoot them yourself, put more light on them to force your camera to use a smaller aperture.

Last, and more personally, I would probably not do business with you if I were in the market for jewelry.  Being a guy, I would be buying it as a gift, and likely a few weeks before the gift giving event.  By your consumer unfriendly terms, when I give the gift, I can't return if or any reason.

I agree with Videography comments.

I don't want to be rude, but what part of your website is "elegant"? Your website address says "elegant" but you don't show it. You need to show your visitors that you're professional and display that elegant image of your business. Think about your target audience and what they would expect to see.
