No, never heard from her again.

Hired a new nanny.

Maybe she was a Mafia nanny? Or she had to go into Witness Protection?

I have a whole list of scenarios that I`d find preferable to "she totally ditched us and dumped her commitment to my kid". I`ve had flaky employees before, but having someone disappear on my kid is a whole new thing for me. I`m just glad that my daughter isn`t quite old enough to start asking where her "friend" went.

Get her an invisible friend. They`re more dependable, and work cheap.
