This post is dedicated to all of the Mom`s on Startup Nation who saw the vision to start their own business. What a great network we have at Startup Nation! Being an entrepreneur myself ,we all have to praise ourselves for following our dreams. With kids, husbands and so many other obstacles in our way, we broke through the boundaries and created successful businesses. Here`s to all of the Mom`s on Startup Nation and around the world, wishing you long lasting success in your business endeavors.
To all of the successful men out there, we could all use your vote until the contest ends on March 31st and thanks for supporting us in our vision!

You`re 100% right. Women have the ability to create successful businesses all while being great wives and mothers. Kudos to us!

Good luck with the contest.

Hello,

I am not only a mom, but a grandmother, and great grandmother.  I started a business called Talented Tocious Creations but was cut down by a diagnosis of colon cancer and the gentleman who owns the building I was renting space from decided to close the building because he was not making enough money to break even.  I can'g fault him for that but it's all just a little too much for me to process right now.  My van isn't running, I need a new alternator and battery, but I plan to walk around my neightborhood to check out some buildings I saw for rent signs in.  It can't hurt.

I'll have to so it on the sly because my family doesn't want me to continue to find a place to run my business because they thing I should be saving my energy for the chemo.  I can't do it.  I've got to see if there's a place out there I can run my business from.

Oh, I forgot, I make custom-designed decorative pillows, bedding sets, fabric wall hangings and more.  I specialize in Ethnic & Specialty fabrics.

Guess that's all.

Being a full time working mom has had many ups and downs, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Working online has allowed me to support my family without ever having to leave them and not miss a single thing.

I've been working and running my own writing business for 2 years time now and love every minute of it. The opportunities are endless if you know where to look. Love meeting other moms in my business and wouldn't change it for the world.
