Please allow us to introduce Discountshuffle and what we are trying to achieve.
We are in the process of launching the first coupon application on Facebook with over one thousand shops (once fully integrated) and several thousand coupons for the US alone. After adding the application to ones Facebook profile it allows to search for daily updated coupon and discount codes across all categories.
The Discountshuffle website first launched in September of 2009 with the goal to allow users to easily find new coupon codes for products they wish to purchase and since then has continuously added new features such as the shufflebar or geo ip filtering. The Facebook application includes a number of features many users had hoped for in the original design of the site. These include search and tags allowing users to find coupon codes in a targeted manner. Sharing and communication is a central theme of the app giving users an opportunity to share, comment on and like each coupon in an identical style to Facebook. We have focused on the user experience and with her/him in mind have created an application that has a clean and structured layout with little fluff.
We plan to develop a number of features over the coming months, including the ability for users to submit their own coupon codes, a Facebook tab which can be added to ones profile and customized to display daily coupons that are relevant to ones interests. We also plan to add the ability for users to receive Facebook credits in exchange for their purchases.
