Hey guys,
We just launched our site and we`d like to create a
simple experience.

http://www.GeniusRoom.com/

After a quick look through the site, would you be able to
answer the questions below?

* What does our product do?
* What does it cost to subscribe?
* What is an example use case?
* Did you see a screenshot?
* Did you think "hey this is neat"?

We truly appreciate any feedback (good or bad).

Okay, here`s the main problem I see: the term "genius," as you`re using it in context, carries a very strong connotation of satire, like "Nice move, genius!" I get where you`re going, but you`re going to have to add some content to take the edge off, otherwise, you`re going to alienate a large percentage of first-time visitors.
  • What does our product do?
It appears to be something like "Go to meeting," where people can work online in a virtual office?
  • What does it cost to subscribe?
    Free?
  • What is an example use case?
    No idea
  • Did you see a screenshot?
    Nope
  • Did you think "hey this is neat"?
On a scale of 1-10 as applied to getting me excited right out of the box, I`d give it a 3
I read your home-page content, and really didn`t understand where this was all going. It was only when I clicked the "Become a genius" link that I started getting a "sense" of what was going on. I didn`t particularly explore any further because you asked for a quick impression.

I`d say that as it stands, it`s not compelling. It`s a great idea, and the best page on the site is the "Features" page. That should be moved to the front, get a copywriter for the 2 paragraphs of intro, and put the features just as you have them, "below the fold" on the main page. Keep the tab, as a redundant option for people who want to return to those features later.

I think the look of the website is good.  I did see the screen shot and I think it was about $10 to join.  I was like Craig that I had to look to a second page to figure out what it was.  On  your homepage you said that it would reduce clutter and I`m not sure how it would do that.  I think if you have more than one person at different locations who need to access files, etc. it could be a nice service.  I liked the part about planting the trees too.

I appreciate you taking a look Tracy.

We`re trying to build it out for those in professional
services, as a way for them to interface with clients (or
a distributed team).

Our web designer came up with the tree suggestion - I
really like the idea as well.
