Hi Bev!

Thanks for sharing your good experiences with Ladies Who Launch!  I can`t wait until I meet in person.  There is something about live events that always get me jazzed.

I still want to do informal get togethers here in AZ of SuN members of all backgrounds and open it up to the SuN brothers too ... (not just Rich and Jeff, but ALL of our male counterparts)

What Bev didn`t share, everyone, is that in addition to being a fabulous entrepreneur, she also toured with Prince.  Now don`t you think that my membership fee is worth it just to hear the inside stories?!?

I can`t wait for the trip to New York - I just interviewed Gloria Steinem today on a call and I can`t wait to meet her and Jane Fonda in person!  How is that for name dropping?

Hi Pam,

Just wanted to let you know I agree 100%.  A support group of like minded people can do wonders.  It dates back to Ben Franklin and his group.  I forgot what he called it, but its been going on in the higher social circles for generations.  Some call them mastermind groups.

They say that a person can have up to 300 contacts at any given time, and with so many contacts, multiplied by the amount of members, many ventures become reality.

In fact, I`ve been entertaining my own mastermind group here in Las Vegas as well.

I think maybe its time for many of us here at SuN to begin local groups and help each other brainstorm.  You can`t go wrong with an idea like that!

Thanks for your input Jerik!

I totally agree with you.  I have been really amazed at the power of virtual networking through forums such as this one and the community at my blog.  But sometime good, old-fashioned face to face time is really fun.

And asI mentioned in the original email, I will never forget the energizing meetings I attended for the Fast Company cell get togethers.

Go for it in Las Vegas - I imagine it is a land ripe with entrepreneurs!

Have a great weekend.

Hi Jerik!

I think the concept of the "Mastermind" group is brilliant.  Napoleon Hill suggests creating one`s own Mastermind group in his book, Think and Grow Rich.  I`m working on mine! ;o)

Good luck in Las Vegas!

Hi mikechong,

In the early 1980s, I spent many a day in KL working with Esso Malaysia specifivcally in their Engineering/Marketing Department.. I was the Project Engineer for the design, install and commissioning of Telecom links to off shore oil platforms. Perhaps, you know of new or upgrade Telecom projects in the offering or other possible business opportunities in which we could work together for win-win successes. Maybe I should go to my "many years old files" and refresh my memory of the contacts I had then and their departments. I also have access to many data bases and a VIP member of two International Registries to "target" potential Clients in Malaysia. One has a public page at www.prestigewhoswho.com/profiles/jpcool Food for thought?

Have a great weekend.
