Although I`ve been a lurker around SuN for months, I`ve created a new profile and am now ready to be an active member.
My company is called Terminatin Nation and in a mouthful, we provide affordable employee relations, workplace issue, and employment transition consulting for both individuals and organizations. All one-on-one consultation is completed confidentially over the phone or email. Organizational consulting can be completed virtually or on-site.
Unfortunately, no one ever teaches us in school how to deal with workplace conflict and/or employment transitions.
How do you deal with a challenging boss? Or co-worker? Or subordinate? What are your rights when you feel you are underpaid, discriminated against, passed over for a promotion, or harassed? How do you prepare to resign from a company, fire an employee, implement a group layoff, or apply for a new job within the same company? How do you prepare to take a leave of absence, handle a disciplinary action, decide whether to consult your company`s HR department, or raise an issue to your management chain?
My passion has always been around helping people through times of workplace anxiety & stress. What I`ve learned over the years is that everyone`s situation is unique and usually a quick brainstorming session puts everything in a new light.
I look forward to working with all of you. Especially since many of you are either moonlighters or "one foot out of the door" of corporate America.
