I am going to be starting a Business in America, LLC or Corp, With a Japanese national. This person has a SSN# and a US address.

Are there any issues with this?

Will my company be subject to Japanese taxes because of my Japanese partner?

Im thinking of contacting a lawyer soon to check on this

The answer is NO. Unless you have another issue don't waste money  speaking to a lawyer. You're not subject to any tax. His personal earning might be subject to his country tax but not yours or your business/partnership.
