For all who desire the challenge of starting a new business.GO FOR IT!

After my High School years I found employment at a local Hotel-being a Maid and it wasn`t easy. After long hours at work and hardly no time to play or no extra income to spend on myself. I decided what can I do about it.It took a while for me to gather my ideas. But after my First child I knew that I had to find a solution sooner than I was expecting-due to our living standards. So after coming home from work one evening and stopping to pick my baby up ,tired, hot, baby crying. I fell down on my knees and cried until my eyes were swole. That  very next morning I called in  for work and I went to a small business seminar that was FREE OF CHARGE,I knew I had hands on skills inside of me that I could push out -but I just did`nt know exactly what it was that I liked to do so much, I LOVE MY COMPUTER,I MUST ADMIT I`M A GENIUS AT IT, So I said to myself, "I LOVE TO TYPE AND RESEARCH"--And that was my calling...The very same day I left that Seminar --It gave me so much motivation-- I went and got my License then shortly aftwards I took a course in the Marketing  Industry--then I was set FREE AS A BIRD from all the hard work that never paid off. I`m proud to say I have 2 firms now and hoping to retire soon.  The moral to my story is...Gather your thoughts and think your trades through,Research the Industry--Pray about it and Leave it in the hands of the Lord---When you are Blessed,Treat your customers like they are a pot of gold because-It`s because of them-your success stood.

I also want to included this message from one of my clients who wrote an article about my business in a newspaper column...

Hi, I am Velma a 54yr old Retail business owner. After going through the tiredness process of starting my own retail shoppe.I had to figure out a way to get customers-My store only had 1 or 2 visitors a week, I had no website at the time just a corner shoppe.I did`nt know what to do so I turned to my consulting agent for recommedations and she stated for me to try www.ipromotemarketing.com because her husband has been with them for some time and they were living up to their services-So I debated if I wanted to try them, After a while I finally got a computer because the Internet Market was in High Demand and alot of my Co-Partners had stores on-line--so I went to their site---my first impression was o-well---I then trusted in Beth my consulting agent and signed up for their 6 month subscription plan---still lacking the trust--I got on my computer to see if i had any sales and there were still no sales-I begin to weer--The next day I checked it and I Promise I had 43 hits to my site and 12 purchases within 48hrs.I am so proud to let everyone know my success story. They are nearly the cheapest of others local companies I`ve tried and the results are overwhelming-thanks,Velma-Blessed Treasures Boutique

Few people realize the actual skills they have. It`s usually because they see themselves as other people see them, allowing themselves to be put in a box---"pegged," as it were---and never think about the underlying things they`re doing.

Someone might be working as an office cleanup person, and believe that`s what they do. That`s their job, their title, and their description. But all they need to do is re-examine the specific tasks they`re doing, then imagine how those would operate in some other situation.

It`s not easy changing one`s perception of one`s self. There`s a fun parlor-game question: Without thinking too much, answer quickly:

 " Who are you?"

The first 3-5 words of your response speak to how you fundamentally see yourself. You`d be shocked at how many people, when you ask them this question and push for a rapid response, will begin with something like "Oh....I dunno...I guess I`m...."

They just really don`t know who they are. To begin a business, I think it`s first important to have a clear sense of identity. Who are you, and how do you fit into the world around you. Sounds like you came to this realization earlier than most, and have become successful as a result. Congratulations, and hopes for continued success!

I think perseverance is crucial. Most people just give up once they meet up with some obstacles.

There is always a reason or excuse not to start a business.  I am not saying jump blindly.  Plan, don't be scared or use an excuse, and execute.
