So as my best friend (who happens to be my husband) and I have been in business together for nearly a decade, we have developed some habits that don`t always quite fit the norm of married life.
Some folks argue about chores, money, kids, etc...we are more likely to spend time justifying our postion to one another in full corporate prose why each should be the CEO today.
Anyway, when the kids are settled into bed and the dishes are done and the dog is in and the cats are out and the house is quiet, we can be found in the garage, our nightly ritutal of discussion underway. Business is usually the start of conversation, ideas, strategies, and open ears to the days events. If we sip some wine, we might talk about the universe, our purpose here, the hum of life and all...
But lately it seems, since I have been so enrapt in my passion for GreenBeans, that when my husband speaks, I hear music. No matter the subject, it could be a trivial matter, but when we settle into the night"s discussions, I talk, he talks and I hear music.
Through the music, I start to write, ideas, thoughts, plans LOTS of things. He is talking on and on, and I am obviously mustering a response that at least SEEMS like I am paying attention, but all the while his words trail off into a beautiful song, and I am inspired, and so I write.
He is catching on now, and has banned the notebook from the garage, but it has always been a staple, and besides...I know his weaknesses...
So I guess that makes him my muse, as I have been hearing his music, but I am wondering, am I totally cukoo, or does anyone else hear music?
