Keep in mind that the average web surfer is not going to spend more than a few seconds on your site. You have that amount of time to hook them. Your site doesn’t accomplish that goal. Here are my suggestions.
1. Start out by renaming your site. Choose a name that relates to what your site is all about.
2. State up front what you do. Are you a site that brings investors and fund seekers together for example? Then state that on your first page of your site.
3. Greet people who land on your site. Would you walk up to a person and immediately try to sell them something without saying “Hello?” Of course not. The same is true of a web site. Put a greeting on the first page.
The older we get, the more excuses we make for not chasing after our dreams. But truth is, goals are attainable at any age.
