I have to say, I`ve never heard of "job loss insurance." But today, listening to the radio, I heard a commercial for a company that offers this. So I did some looking, and here`s an article from 2008, put together by ABC.
"Job Loss Insurance."
It seems you can pay in a premium, and if you lose your job, the insurance will pay your bills for some period of time.
That`s all well and good when fewer people are losing their jobs, and more people are paying premiums. But in today`s economy, aren`t we seeing the opposite? Aren`t more people losing their jobs, and fewer people paying only the premiums?
Would you start a job-loss insurance business?
