From Google`s perspective, page rank is everything - but you and I are will never be able to understand specific page rank details. I agree with what Andy Beard has to say about this.

..but totally ignore the toolbar - it`s a pretty useless indicator, when compared to other tools and your actual SERPs.

I agree. My website PR is just 1 , even if my alexa rank is 827778. I have seen lots ob website with higher PR but the alexa rank way low in 2-3 millions.

While it`s true that Alexa is notoriously inaccurate, so is every other traffic ranking service.

Is PR worthless? Maybe not (because it can provide a hint of a site`s popularity)。

it can reflect your website general situation。。that can refer by some people.

the other day,google said cancel PR...do you think it's really?what's their real aim?we don't know..

Google`s Page Rank is not worth less.

Google provides page rank after he check a lot of points like no of back links traffic and much more so you can't say that Google`s Page Rank is not worth less.

It's not worthless. It will show how good a website is and people have always considered it as an asset for a website.
