Hi all! I am new here, and I hope I'm not off-topic.

I have a small company, and I've come around a small startup, a private corporation, and I'd like to invest in them. However, as I understand, a private company does not have a complete or law-required prospectus.

Since this is new to me (my company is self funded and never asked for funds), do I have any rights when investing my money? For example, looking through balance sheets, knowing other shareholders, having a bio of executives...

Thanks! ;)
