I'm new to startup so please bare with me. I have an invention that I need money to help move forward. I'm needing about 10k for patents and to start marketing the product. We can negotiate how much return investor will get back. It's a great product and I had two Patent lawyers say to me that it will make money. I'm on a fixed income so its hard to come up with the money. Thanks for the response.

Hi Lydell, can you please be a little more specific as to what type of invention you need help with? Just the mere mentioning of the term “invention” sends shivers up my spine, but let’s see what you got. If you’re afraid to disclose further details in this forum, please feel free to send me a private message here on Start Up Nation.

I’m sorry to say this but don’t overestimate the comments of these two patent attorneys. If they’re convinced that your invention will be making money, why didn’t they assist you with filing a provisional patent in return for equity or a promissory note?

Cheers!

Karl
